Travel for me is a great source of inspiration and I can’t wait to experience everything Experience Mexico has in store this weekend for the next addition of Ottawa Welcomes the world.
What better way to learn about Mexican culture than by experiencing it through a weekend of food tasting, performances, musical celebrations and more!
Here are all the ways Experience Mexico will ignite your senses this weekend:
Sight
Get ready to embark on a cultural journey of Mexico. Learn about different tourist destinations and Mexico’s diversity. There’s something for everyone whether you’re an adventurous traveller, looking for relaxation, want to see the sights, learn about Mexico’s history and more. I’m excited to see the different presentations throughout the weekend of the different tourist areas such as Los Cabos, San Miguel de Allende, Campeche, Riviera Nayarit and more. I’m sure they’ll all end up on my travel bucket-list. Mexico has always been a destination I’ve been eager to visit and I’m sure this weekend will inspire new trip ideas!
Take in the sights of Mexico’s stunning landscape, historic architecture and more.
You’ll have the chance to see special performances of Cirque de Soleil inspired by Luzia, a walking dream of Mexico as well as Live danzón dance performance.

Who doesn’t love Mexican food?! With such rich flavor it’s sure to please your taste buds. Experience Mexico is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the gastronomy of Mexico. There will also be tastings of tequila and mezcal, both originating in Mexico. While you’re there, visit local suppliers Latin Market, Panchos Bakery, Choriza La Abuela, Passport Café, The Cupcake Lounge, Restaurant Rebozos, and Bar Tequilart.
